3D Printing : The Future of India || Tindit India ||

There is a myth in the world that everyone thinks that 3D printing is the concept that was born in these few years. But the truth is 3D Printing Technology was developed in the mid 1980s by Chuck W. Hull.In 1986, He founded 3D systems and from then,it is working on bringing Innovative ideas.

What is 3D printing and Why is it helpful?

3D printing is the Additive manufacturing method which is used to create 3D objects.Additive manufacturing is better than Subtractive manufacturing because in Subtractive manufacturing, A lot of material gets wasted.

It is helpful In following ways:

1) It will help in reducing Delivery Cost: 3D printing helps in building your own product.Nowadays, Most of the people have access to the Internet,So if they want anything, all they need is to order for the part design.

2)It provides an opportunity for the user to become a creator:When we have a 3D printer,We will have an opportunity to customise or create any part on our own.

3)It is economical: The products created by 3D printing are cheaper than the products we find in the market. For example,We may have nuts and bolts for like Rs.5 from the market; If we create them by using a 3D Printer, then it will have a cost of about Rs.1-2.

If 3D printing has so many advantages, then Why did it not make that “Big” in India?
In India,The 3D printing is still in its Initialisation phase. The 3D printers are only available in Educational institutes and in Professional World.
Also,It has a very high price-Most of the people in India are unable to buy 3D printers.

In India,3D printers are coming slowly. Most of the startups use 3D printers to create parts to cut cost in long terms.

Also,If anyone is thinking that 3D printers are capable of creating Any material body,Then think again.Their are lots of research is going on 3D Printer Filaments,Israeli Scientists have created a World’s 1st 3D printed heart using human cells.

So,We can say that their will be a time when people will not buy, they “Download”  and print.
