1. Rabindra Nath TagoreRabindranath Tagore FRAS, sobriquets Gurudev, was a Bengali poet, writer, composer, and painter. He reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.






2. sir Chandra Sekhar Venkat Raman was an Indian physicist who made groundbreaking works in the field of light scattering. With his student K. S. Krishnan, he discovered that when light traverses a transparent material, some of the deflected light change wavelength and amplitude


3.Har Gobind Khorana was an Indian American biochemist. While on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he shared the 1968 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine .




4. Mother Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu, honoured in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary. She was born in Skopje, then part of the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire.




5. Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar FRS was an Indian-American astrophysicist who spent his professional life in the United States. He was awarded the 1983 Nobel Prize for Physics with William A. Fowler for "...theoretical studies of the physical processes of importance to the structure and evolution of the stars"
 6 Amartya Kumar Sen CH is an Indian economist, who since 1972 has taught and worked in the United Kingdom and the United States. 



7.Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul TC, most commonly known as V. S. Naipaul, and informally, Vidia Naipaul, was an Indo-Trinidadian-born British writer of works of fiction and nonfiction in English.




8. Venkatraman "Venki" Ramakrishnan is an Indian-British-American structural biologist who is the current President of the Royal Society. In 2009, he shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Thomas A. Steitz and Ada Yonath, "for studies of the structure and function of the ribosome".



9.Kailash Satyarthi is an Indian social reformer who campaigned against child labour in India and advocated the universal right to education.



10. Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee is an American economist of Indian origin who is currently the Ford Foundation International Professor of Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
